In ancient Turkish literature, texts have a structure which is built within the framework of certain rules in terms of both content and form features. Especially in verse works, couplet, bend, rhyme, rhyme and meter features; They are important criteria in classifying, interpreting poems as well as determining the poet's style and poetic power. Rhyme and meter are concrete indicators of the external structures of poems, but they are also the building blocks of harmony elements in poems.
Nedîm and Sheikh Gâlib were the pioneer poets of the XVIII century and the whole of dîvân poetry. Nedîm, known as the poet of the Tulip Era, received a good education by learning Arabic and Persian along with classical sciences. He became the founder of the Nedîmâne style with the perfection of diction in his poems; he influenced the poets after him with this new style he developed. Sheikh Gâlib was born and raised in a Mevlevi environment. Gâlib received his primary education from his father and mevlevî sheikhs; he became famous with his Dîvân and his mesnevî called Hüsn ü Aşk. Sheikh Gâlib is considered as the last greatest poet of dîvân poetry.
The works of Şeyh Gâlib and Nedîm have been the subject of research with their form and content characteristics. In this study, Sheikh Gâlib and Nedîm's poem (murabba) consisting of five stanzas, written in the meter most commonly used in Turkish literature, are written It was examined in terms of aruz usages within the framework of the method applied by Yavuz Bayram. By determining the arûz applications in the poems of these two great poets living in the 18th century, similarities and differences were tried to be revealed, even within a limited framework.
