Abstract

Majmua’s are mostly unique manuscripts in which more than one work and different couplets come together. One of these majmua is, manuscript number Ms.or.oct. 3419, which was newly cataloged in the Berlin State Library. This majmua, which is one of the manuscripts that Oskar Rescher sold to the Berlin State Library in 1931, was probably completed in 1521 upon the request of Üveys Bey (d. 1522), the son of Dulkadiroğlu Şehsüvaroğlu Ali Bey (d. 1522). The majmua has both seven works and also various poems under the title ‘Müteferrikat’.
Important aspect of the majmua is that it contains poems and works in Chagatai Turkish, Persian, Turkish and Arabic. Among these, there are important works such as Hatifî's Leyla vü Mecnun, Şükrî's divan that has not been known until now, and the first version of his Selim-name's, Sururî-i Acem's divan.
In addition, at the end of the majmua, it contains very valuable information about majmua in the 91 couplet Persian verse section written by the compiler of majmua.
In this study, firstly, the majmua will be introduced, the works in the majmua will be evaluated, and especially the "Muteferrikat" will be examined. Then, Dulkadiroğlu Üveys Bey will be briefly mentioned and the question of who the the compiler of majmua (mürettib) is will be examined. In addition, at the end of the article, Turkish couplets that we could not find in the sources in "Müteferrikat" and the Persian translation of 91 couplets at the end of the majmua will be given as an appendix.
