Abstract
Cevâbî’s Mu‘cize-nâme
Classical Turkish Literature has a treasure of texts
which differ according to form and content. The “manzume”
in “kaside” form composed by the poet Cevâbî,
who is thought to have lived in the 17th century, is only
one of these texts. The poem attracts attention due to its
narration of the miracles found in different parts of
Prophet Muhammed’s body. In this article, I will frame
the text of this manzume, analyze it.
