Abstract
Concept of God in the Book of Dede Korkut
The book of Dede Korkut comes from the twelve stories
that describe various sections of Oguzlar's epic confucian
life. Dede Korkut himself is a great Oghuzese who is
sanctified and sanctified by the wise personality among
nomadic Turks. He is considered the father of the Oghuz
boy, he is also a very powerful poet. Not only from the time
he lived alone, but also from the past and the future. In
Dede Korkut stories, the beliefs of the Turks, their moral
values, their patriotism, their prowess are told very
vividly. In the stories described in the book of Dede Korkut,
the basic beliefs of Islam are expressed in various ways, and
pre-Islamic Turkish beliefs are reflected in these stories
from time to time. In this article, the idea of, God reflected
in the stories of Dede Korkut is discussed and it is told that
the Islamic elements are not the surface of these stories.
