Abstract
Tongue and Literature in the Period of Anatolian Seljuk State
Islamization and Turkization of Anatolia began with
defeat Byzantium in Malazgird in 1071 by Alp Arslan,
the Seljukid Sultan. After Malazgird victory, the Oghuz
Turkish groups came to Anatolia, regarded as dâru'lcihâd,
in order to convert Anatolian people to Islam. They
brought to Anatolia their language, culture and
traditions. The aim of this study is to reveal the
characteristics of the language and literature developed in
Anatolia.
