Abstract

Comparison Of Epizot And Motifs In Cemşîd ü Hurşid Mesnevi With Turkish Folk Story And Fairy Tales
Folk tales and tales that have survived through oral expression contain many cultural elements synthesized in folk imagination. It is possible to follow the traces of these cultural elements not only in folk literature texts but also in classical and modern Turkish literature products In every literary tradition, the cultural accumulation, social belief system and lifestyle carried by previous narratives are assimilated by the artist and reflected by his unique perspective Especially in mesnevi, which is one of the verse forms of classical Turkish literature based on narration, the effects of cultural heritage elements such as beliefs, myths and legends of ancient narratives are felt intensely. While our poets recognize and use the Mesnevi form through Iranian literature, they succeed in assimilating this form with themselves. Ahmedî's 4798 couplets Cemşîd ü Hurşîd mesnevi has an important place in our literature in terms of narration technique. The subject of our study is to examine this mesnevi, which is a compilation work, in terms of episodes and motifs, and to determine the similarities and differences with traditional narrative types such as Turkish fairy tales and folk talesIn this article, folk tales such as Dede Korkut Stories, Elif ile Mahmut, Tahir ile Zühre, Raznihan ile Mahfiruze, Ferhad ile Şirin and many tales such as Güneş Kızı, Kırk Boy, Altın are studied in the context of repetitive episodes and motifs in terms of form and function in Cemşîd ü Hurşîd. In addition, in order to reveal the relations between the texts, the narratives in the event flow of the mesnevi were evaluated over the similarities they contain with these folk narrative types, especially in the world of fiction, extraordinary and structural elements..
