Abstract
An Significant Copy of The Diwan of Seyyid Nesîmî and His Unpublished Turkish Poems
Seyyid İmâdüddîn Nesîmî, who wrote poems in Azerbaijani Turkish, is one of the great poets of the Turkish world. Nesîmî, in addition to the lyric poems he wrote, left lasting traces in the minds of his followers with his epic life story.
To this date, many studies on Nesîmî’s life and art have been presented to researchers and curious readers. So far, six research studies have been made on Nesîmî's poems which are not included in the Diwan of Nesîmî published in Turkey and Azerbaijani. As the unknown copies of the Diwan of Nesîmî or the literary magazines containing his poems are discovered, it is likely that such studies can be made which will result in adding new poems to the Diwan's reproduction.
In this article, it is aimed to introduce Nesîmî's written diwan which was reproduced in Shiraz and transferred to Bodleian Library of Oxford University and to introduce his unpublished poems in this Diwan to the scholarly world. In this context, the full texts of Nesîmî's 2 non-published ghazals and 2 tuyughs were presented to the attention of the researchers in Latin letters and transcribed texts.
